This image is special to me for a very unique reason, I rarely take shots of people. As in never. I am way too shy to be a portrait photographer. There is something about sticking my camera into someone else’s private moment that I can’t easily handle. But something about this couple walking in the fog at Snoqualmie Falls really touched me and pushed me past my normal boundaries. It was only a small leap of bravery on my part since I put the camera up to my eye and snapped three quick shots.

As it turned out, I didn’t get away unnoticed but they seemed pretty cool with it.

The fog was so thick the day we visited Snoqualmie falls that we never did see the water falls. But it was still a great trip and I had a pretty great time shooting in the fog.
